First Day of Fall

Upon stepping outside, you smell the crisp, clean Missouri air and you immediately know its the first day of autumn. The trees will soon be turning all the wonderful hues of fall and the countryside will be brimming with activities. This fall at the B&B there are many fun things to choose from. Host a  harvest themed tea party or a tea supporting breast cancer awareness month in October. Enjoying a hayride is also a wonderful way to take in the breath-taking scenery and spend time with loved ones...and a steaming mug of apple cider.

When you think of fall, most people probably think of pumpkins, gourds, or zucchini. Well, ladies and gentleman, be prepared to add cantaloupe to your list. It is almost October and we have 4 healthy little cantaloupes growing out by the white picket fence. Soon we will harvest them and see how good our surprise cantaloupe are!
